Recognition and Community

Andrea, The Beekeepers WifeThe Beekeeper’s Wife Apiary & Soapery is proud to be a member of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild, joining a community dedicated to excellence in artisan body care. We are dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards.

Our work has been featured in Oregon Coast Today Magazine, and we’ve shared our story in an interview with The Avid Pen blog. We were honored to be selected as Makesy’s Maker of the Month and are proudly Made Better Certified.

We source our ingredients from other women‑owned companies, including, but not limited to, Soapers Choice, Mad Micas and Shay and Company, ensuring they are sustainably sourced and eco‑friendly. Your support helps foster a network of ethical and environmentally responsible businesses.

Our Maker’s Blends have also been featured by respected small businesses and communities including but not limited to Custom Craft Tools, Soap Challenge Club, and Elysian Acres Soap—a testament to the quality, versatility, and the creative possibilities the Maker's Blends inspire for makers everywhere.

Beyond recognition, we believe in giving back. We partner with Eco-Soap Bank, a nonprofit that employs women to recycle leftover soap for children in need across 42 countries. Through this partnership, we donate our soap scraps and contribute a monthly monetary gift—helping transform waste into wellness and extending the reach of our craft far beyond the Oregon coast.

Closer to home, we support local pet charities and shelters with monetary donations. While we can’t adopt them all, we believe in helping a little until every animal finds their forever home. We also make soap donations to various local organizations such as Samaritan House and local food pantries, ensuring the communities they serve receive care and comfort through our craft.

We are grateful to be a small part of such a wonderful community and to be able to give back where we can.
