Beeusables™

Beeusable™ food wraps began in 2015 as our own small‑batch interpretation of traditional waxed cloth. A simple, functional textile made from organic cotton muslin, beeswax from the apiary, and organic oil and resin. What started as a personal project quickly became a core part of our brand.

A Tradition Older Than Plastic

The idea of coating cloth with beeswax is centuries old. In parts of Europe, especially France, bakers and home cooks wrapped fresh bread in waxed cloth to protect it. These handmade textiles were passed down through families, used long before modern packaging existed.

This method created a semi‑breathable layer that supported the natural cooling of bread while shielding it from the environment. Beeswax‑coated cloths were a familiar household tool, crafted and reused across generations.

Our Modern Interpretation

The First Beeusable™ Bread Bag

In 2016, we introduced our modern beeswax bread bag, inspired by those traditional methods and shaped by our own beekeeping and textile work. Beeusable™ grew from a desire for simple, reusable materials and a plastic‑free lifestyle long before it became mainstream.

A Decade of Craftsmanship

Created in 2015 and introduced publicly in 2016, Beeusables™ represent a decade of small‑batch production, beekeeping, and a commitment to simple, functional materials. Each item is handmade, one at a time, using the same core ingredients and methods that defined the very first batch.

Organic, unbleached, undyed cotton muslin. No prints. No dyes. Just clean, functional materials.

Beeusable Collection

Handmade using organic cotton muslin, raw beeswax, organic jojoba and resin. A simple, small‑batch approach to reusable waxed textiles.

Nothing goes with homemade sourdough like our artisanal creamed honey.

Crafted by Hand

Our creamed honey is made by controlling the crystalization process for a smooth texture that does not drip! It is amazing and delicious. This source for our bees is Blackberry and Wildflowers so this is a light, floral honey.
